Character Bios

Steven Quarts Universe

Steven is a young boy who is half human and half Gem, the gems being a species of people from another world based on geological objects. Three gems known as the Crystal Gems train him to use his gem powers and defend their home of Beach City.

 Amethyst

Amethyst is the youngest of the Crystal gems, being the most human of the Gems. She was created on earth in a gem breeding ground called a Kindergarten.

 Pearl

Pearl is the perfectionist clean freak of the gems. She is the overprotective mother-like gem that usually comes up with the plans and is the second youngest gem.

Garnet (Ruby and Sapphire)

Garnet is a mysterious gem that is made up of the two gems Ruby and sapphire. Garnet is the oldest gem and the leader-like after Rose Quartz.

Rose Quartz

Rose is the leader of the Crystal Gems and mother of Steven Universe. Rose had to give up her physical form to create Steven. Theories are said that Rose is secretly Pink Diamond.

Jasper

Jasper is one of the stronger Gems that's part of the diamond authority. Not much is really known about her.

Lapis Lazuli

Lapis is a mysterious gem that came from a mirror that was given to steven by Pearl. It is not known whether Lapis is part of the Crystal Gems or The Diamond Authority.

Peridot

Peridot is a gem that seems to be exceptionally good with Gem technology. Not much is known about her but she is part of the Diamond Authority .
